Our CSR commitment
Our CSR approach
A global commitment to continuous improvement
As a driver of continual progress, our CSR approach is applied across all our activities and is aligned with the policies pursued by Crédit Agricole group – one of the world’s top ranking banks in this area.
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is one of the group’s strategic priorities.
It is embodied in a participatory, scalable improvement strategy known as FReD, which is based on three key pillars that inspire our commitments:
- trust (FIDES),
- respect for individuals and local regions (RESPECT),
- environmental protection (DEMETER).
This results in an annual action plan which we strictly follow.
The FReD progress index measures the annual social and environmental performance of the group Crédit Agricole and its entities
Diversity
Diversity is written into our DNA and our teams include over 50 nationalities from across the five continents.
Our ambitions in terms of progress involve promoting gender equality, in particular through an action plan to step up female leadership.
We also participate in the Crédit Agricole Group programme to promote the employment of disabled people.
Socially responsible investment
We enable our clients to increase their socially responsible investments by developing green finance in partnership with Crédit Agricole group’s experts.
Philanthropy
We meaningfully contribute to projects that bring social value by supporting initiatives in which we implicate our employees where possible.
The Indosuez Foundations
In Europe, Indosuez’s commitment to society is reflected by the action taken by the Indosuez Foundation, under the auspices of the Fondation de France, which supports charities working with vulnerable communities.
In Switzerland, the Indosuez Foundation supports environmental projects with an impact on economic development and raising awareness among local communities. It is involved in reforestation, agroforestry and water management projects.

Solidarity-based initiatives
Indosuez and its employees are involved in local initiatives around the world, in particular through patronage.
In Luxembourg, Monaco and Switzerland, Citizen Days allow employees to give some of their work time to supporting partner charities.
To extend our impact beyond our borders, we allow employees to take humanitarian leave (Congé Solidaire®) to use their skills in support of projects organised by our partner, the non-profit Planète Urgence.
