Indosuez Blue Cycle, an innovative investment solution with a solidarity component
Indosuez Wealth Management completes Indosuez Blue Cycle campaign
The investment solution, co-designed with Crédit Agricole CIB, included donations to water and ocean preservation projects
Paris, 15 December 2022 - The Indosuez Blue Cycle investment solution meets the expectations of Indosuez Wealth Management clients who wish to support water and ocean preservation through their investments.
These structured financial products, issued by Crédit Agricole CIB, are based on:
- Green Notes issued by Crédit Agricole CIB in accordance with their green bond principles, offering investors the opportunity to commit to the energy transition and sustainable development;
- Indexation to the performance of an index aiming to invest in companies using water efficient processes, water recycling or alternative water sources.
Indosuez Blue Cycle also includes a solidarity component in the form of a donation corresponding to a percentage of the amount invested by the client, supplemented by Indosuez and Crédit Agricole CIB, to support utility and innovation through the projects of three foundations and associations:
- Plastic Odyssey and its three-year maritime expedition around the world to fight plastic pollution;
- The Oceanographic Institute of Monaco for the observation and preservation of protected marine species in the Mediterranean;
- The Fondation de la Mer, which works to protect endangered species.
As of 15 December 2022, a total donation of over €430,000 has been collected in favour of these three organisations.
Indosuez's commitment to water and the oceans was initiated by CFM Indosuez Wealth Management, the Group's entity in Monaco through its partnership with the Oceanographic Institute. This commitment is now being materialised throughout the Indosuez group. Subscription to Indosuez Blue Cycle was open to clients of Indosuez in France, Monaco, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium, Italy and Spain.
This initiative is part of the Crédit Agricole Group's collective mobilisation for its Societal Project, a programme that focuses particularly on climate protection and biodiversity.
