Crédit Agricole CIB and Indosuez Wealth Management launch joint Private Investment Banking division

Montrouge, 9 November 2020 - Crédit Agricole CIB and Indosuez Wealth Management are proud to announce the creation of Private Investment Banking, a new division dedicated to supporting ultra-high net worth individuals and family holdings worldwide. As part of the launch of the new division, Silvia Calvello was appointed Global Head of Private Investment Banking. Silvia was previously a Senior Banker for Large French Clients and the Coverage Global Head of the Consumer Goods, Retail and Business Services sector at Crédit Agricole CIB.

Combining the global expertise of senior investment bankers and private bankers, Private Investment Banking will leverage Crédit Agricole CIB and Indosuez Wealth Management’s service offerings, as well as the capabilities of the whole Crédit Agricole group. The division will operate globally, with the support of Crédit Agricole group’s international ecosystem, active in more than 45 countries.

This initiative is fully in line with the Crédit Agricole’s Client Project. It aims at supporting family holdings and their shareholders in implementing their long-term strategies by taking advantage of the group’s network and the synergies between corporate and investment banking and wealth management.

Biography

Silvia Calvello started her career as a consultant in the Oil & Gas sector, and later becoming Executive Associate of the Italian Minister of Industry on these matters. She joined the M&A department of the ENI group in 1996, before moving in 1999 to the Corporate Finance department of UBS in London.In 2003 she joined Crédit Agricole CIB where she held different positions, both in Italy and in France. Silvia Calvello holds an MBA from Cranfield School of Management and a Certificate in Corporate Governance from INSEAD.
