Indosuez Wealth Management renews its partnerships with Art en Vieille-Ville and the Ballet du Grand Théâtre in Geneva
Geneva, 5th May 2022 - As a patron of Geneva's cultural and artistic scene, Indosuez Wealth Management is renewing its commitment as principal partner of Art en Vieille-Ville and official partner of the Ballet du Grand Théâtre de Genève for the 2022-2023 season. The private bank is thus reaffirming the values of excellence, transmission of know-how and innovation that inspire its philanthropic action, as well as the central place given to social responsibility by the Crédit Agricole group.
Partnerships for the promotion of the arts based on shared values
Indosuez has been present in Geneva for more than 145 years and has anchored its participation in the city's cultural and artistic life by supporting Art en Vieille-Ville (AVV) Geneva for three years. This leading Swiss cultural association brings together thirteen prestigious art and antique galleries and three renowned cultural institutions: the Barbier-Mueller Museum, the Museum of Art and History and the Baur Foundation. For the past 15 years, it has been working to make the Old Town of Geneva a key artistic destination in Europe.
In line with the values of excellence and transmission defended by the Grand Théâtre de Genève, Indosuez supports "Mondes en Migration" the 2022-23 season of the Ballet du Grand Théâtre de Genève, which promises to be rich in novelties with the arrival of the new choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui. The Belgian-Moroccan artist, an exciting figure on the international European stage, will lead the Geneva troupe and from September 2022 onwards will offer new pieces and his existing repertoire of major works. Inviting choreographers such as Fouad Boussouf and Damien Jalet will be a way to reveal analogies between artists, to honour the interconnection between music, visual arts and choreography. In collaboration with visual artists, such as Ugo Rondinone or Antony Gormley, the choreography will find a new visual voice. By also working with live music specially created for the ballet performances, the arts will merge, support each other and open up unlimited possibilities.
