Indosuez Wealth Management welcomes new Head of Asset Management for Hong Kong Branch
Hong Kong, 30 August 2021 - Indosuez Wealth Management in Asia (“Indosuez”), the global wealth management brand of Credit Agricole group, has appointed Ian Koo as Head of Asset Management for the bank’s Hong Kong branch, effective as of 23 August 2021.
In this role, Ian will oversee the asset management sphere for the bank in Hong Kong, encompassing the distribution, marketing and investor servicing of asset management-related products and offerings. He is also responsible for the discretionary portfolio management business as well as fund distribution and activities. Functionally, Ian reports to Grizelda Lee, Head of Asset Management Asia, Public Markets Solutions.
Ian joins Indosuez with 15 years’ experience advising bespoke investment solutions and growing portfolios for ultra-high-net-worth clients across Asia. He previously served as the head of portfolio management at Bank of New York Mellon (Hong Kong) where he led the portfolio management team to implement fully discretionary client portfolios across all asset classes.
He also worked at several global banks, including HSBC International (Hong Kong) and ING (Hong Kong), where he provided wealth solutions to high-net-worth clients.
