The partnership of excellence between CFM Indosuez and the Compagnie des Ballets de Monte-Carlo renewed for three years

February 03, 2021

Monaco, 3rd February 2021 - The 20-year partnership between CFM Indosuez and the Compagnie de Monte-Carlo was celebrated in 2019, in the presence of H.R.H. The Princess of Hanover, with a private performance at the Monte-Carlo Opera, accompanied by the musicians of the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, followed by a sumptuous dinner at the Salle Empire of the Hotel de Paris.

Today it is in the warm intimacy of the Atelier des Ballets de Monte-Carlo that the two official partners have just signed the extension of their commitment for another 3 years. They thus confirm the importance they attach to their common values: the search for excellence, innovation, surpassing oneself, teamwork and family spirit.

This renewal also demonstrates CFM Indosuez's desire to actively continue its support for cultural activities, which help the Principality of Monaco to shine throughout the world and are a major asset to its international reputation.

New in 2021: CFM Indosuez will benefit from privileged access to the Ballets de Monte-Carlo's new video platform: bmcstream.com. This is an immersive experience that has never been seen before in the world of dance, making it possible to enjoy the Ballets de Monte-Carlo's shows from the comfort of your own home.

They said it

Jean-Christophe Maillot, Choreographer - Director of the Ballets de Monte-Carlo

"More than 20 years of unfailing support, renewed once again, is unique and exceptional in the Principality of Monaco, especially in the context we are currently experiencing. CFM Indosuez gives us the means to innovate with this superb tool at the service of the choreographic art that is Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo. Our relationship is based on deep mutual trust. This is what is most precious and that is why CFM Indosuez is our oldest official partner. »

Mathieu Ferragut, CEO of CFM Indosuez Wealth Management

"The internationally recognized quality of Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo is a source of pride for the Principality. For CFM Indosuez, it is an honor and a pleasure to continue our accompaniment, which has lasted for more than 20 years. This renewal of partnership for 3 years is in perfect coherence with the ambition of the Indosuez Group to promote excellence, know-how and passion and thus to support talent. Together with the Ballets of Monte-Carlo, we intend to write a common history for many more years to come. »

About the Compagnie des Ballets de Monte-Carlo

In 1985, the present Compagnie des Ballets de Monte-Carlo was created thanks to the will of H.R.H. the Princess of Hanover who wished to join the long tradition of dance in Monaco and its famous "Ballets Russes". At first directed by Ghislaine Thesmar and Pierre Lacotte, then by Jean-Yves Esquerre, it is with the arrival of Jean-Christophe Maillot in 1993 that it takes a real international rise thanks to the choreographies he creates for her and which are recognized all over the world. Moreover, Jean-Christophe Maillot also enriches her repertoire by inviting major choreographers of our time, but also by allowing emerging choreographers to work with this exceptional tool formed by her 50 dancers. In 2000, he created, with Stéphane Martin, the Monaco Dance Forum, an international dance festival in which the company regularly participates. In 2011, under the Presidency of H.R.H. The Princess of Hanover, Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo, directed by Jean-Christophe Maillot, will bring together three institutions: the Compagnie des Ballets de Monte-Carlo, the Monaco Dance Forum and the Princess Grace Academy. Creation, dissemination and training are now united in Monaco within the same structure in order to serve the choreographic art in a way never before seen in the world of dance.
